The fee includes the cost of transportation, entrance fees, guides and lunch

Apart from being blessed with beaches, forests and mountains, this small province is of great historical interest. It played a significant role in World War II, being the site of the Battle of Bataan and the starting point of the infamous Death March to Tarlac. The tour includes a number of sites of both historical and cultural interest.

5:45 Meet in front of Sanctuario de San Antonio Church in Forbes Park, Makati City
6:00 Depart for Bataan
7:30 Rest stop/Coffee break (half an hour)
9:30 Morong: Tour of the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant
10:30 Bagac: Tour of the Acuzar Compound of restored historical structures
PM
12:30 Lunch at Acuzar Compound
14:00 Brief stop at the kasuy factory nearby (half an hour)
15:00 Pilar: Visit Dambana ng Kagitingan, memorial of the Bataan Death March in Mt. Samat National Park
16:00 Depart for Manila
18:00 Rest stop/Coffee break (half an hour)
19:30 Arrive in Sanctuario de San Antonio, Makati

Join the tour, see and visit Malabon’s old houses survive despite the threats of time and tide! The old majestic houses of Malabon City refuse to fade away into obscurity despite the threat of being erased from the map because of constant flooding.

Itinerary:
9:00 – 9:15am Santuario de San Antonio Church, Forbes Park, Makati (parking lot)
9:15am Depart to Malabon
10:00am Assembly and brunch at Pescadores restaurant
11:00am Briefing of the tour
11:30am Mobilization
(from pescadores, structures that can be seen along the way; Asilo de Huerfanos, Sy-Jueco house, Gozon Ancestral house, Punzalan house)
11:45 -12:30 First stop: San Bartolome Church complex, ruins of the Casa Tribunal de Naturales, Serafin Serna exhibit, and Betsy’s cake shop.
To next destination will pass by; Lupang Mitra, houses of the Dionisio, Angel Lazaro, Villonco, de Dios, Magno, Nepomuceno.and Tropicana Studio.
1:00 – 2:00pm Second stop: Concepcion Heritage cluster – starting from the Paez ancestral house, Paez-Luna, Lao-Luna, Bernardo, Horacio Luna.
We will enter the Borja House and Concepcion church. People can also go to Dolor’s kakanin, Concepcion bakery (for camachile), visita (became the local term for the market) to buy tapang kabayo, okoy, rellenong bangus, and other locally available products.
To the next desitnation will pass by; houses of the Gungon, ruins of the Nonoy Marcelo’s house, Rivera, Naval-Gungon, Santos, Rodriguez, site of the la Princesa Cigar Factory, Gov. Wenceslao Pascual, Simeon Blas, Villacorta.
2:15-2:45pm Third stop: Angel Cacnio residence to view his house and works, and have a treat of Malabon made Ice buko.
3:00pm-4:00pm Fourth stop: Cuatro Cantos / Baritan – will enter the Rufina patis factory, go to Malabon Que Kiam, Rosie’s Pancit Malabon. Will be able to see Cayco house. Pass by the Chikiamco house.
Enter the Santos-Lapuz house, and the Martinez house for minendal / merienda. People can go to Arny-Dading to buy peachy peachy, acharang dampalit, bangus, etc….
To the next stop will pass by the following houses; Judge Ignacio, Benito Cruz, Faustino Ignacio, Marcelo-Papa, Concepcion Cluster (Luna houses), Santos, Aglipayan church, Lazaro, and Tantoco.
4:30-5:00pm Fifth stop: Raymundo house
Return to Pescadores / makati; will pass by the houses of the Camus, Garcia, and Araullo, site of the Casa Tribunal de Mestizos, Plaza Rodriguez.
5:00pm – 6:00pm Travel time back to Forbes Park, Makati City
