An annual project of the Museum Foundation of the Philippines, ART IN THE PARK is an affordable art fair for paintings, prints, photos, and sculpture. Pieces have a price ceiling of P20,000.00.

Art in the Park features original paintings, prints, photographs and sculptures by promising art students and established visual artists.

Art after Dark is a relaxed evening affair featuring 6 interactive art spaces highlighting one-of-a-kind or specially selected pieces from different artists and art groups.

The Museum Foundation of the Philippines creates an exciting event for first-time buyers and experienced collectors to purchase original contemporary art by up-coming and celebrated artists.  For the first time in its three years, Art in the Park will extend until evening but only after transforming into six interactive art spaces.  Allow yourself to be wooed by an equally impressive line-up of artists and art groups showcasing one-of-a-kind pieces.

Join the Philippine visual arts community and Museum Foundation of the Philippines for the fourth edition of Art in the Park this November 17, 8 am to 4 pm at the Velasquez Park, Salcedo Village, Makati City. Drop by this special art event to purchase one-of-a-kind, affordable artworks for P20,000 and below.

Scheduled conveniently within the Christmas season, Art in the Park hopes to attract shoppers looking for original and quality presents. All proceeds of Art in the Park support the Museum Foundation’s programs to help the National Museum. Conceptualized to attract a general audience and encourage new buyers unfamiliar with the Philippine visual art scene, Art in the Park features original works of over 80 artists from around the Philippines. On sale are paintings, prints, photographs and sculpture by promising art students and established visual artists.

Some of the participating organizations and artists are: Art Informal, Art Inday, Art Wednesday, Blanc, Bulacan Artists Group, Galeria de las Islas, Galerie Astra, Grupo Ocho, Kalinawa Art Foundation, L’Arc en Ciel, Nineveh, Philippine Association of Printmakers, FEATI, FEU Fine Arts, U.P. College of Fine Arts, Slash Art/Tin-Aw, Antipas Delotavo, Phyllis Zaballero, Alma Quinto, Toto Tarrosa, Anton del Castillo, Lory Medina, Carlitos Ortega, Frederick Epistola, and many more.

Paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture and other works of art by Filipino cntemporary artists will be available in the affordable art fair — Art in the Park — organized by Museum Foundation of the Philippines. Now a bi-annual event, the works of art will be sold for P20,000 and below at the Salcedo Park on Saturday, June 16 from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Art in the Park also coincides with the 3rd anniversary of the Salcedo Community Market organized by Barangay Bel- Air led by Kapitana Nene Lichauco and Salcedo Market manager Marc Medina.

galleries. Art in the Park was envisioned by Museum Foundation volunteers as an opportunity for artists from galleries, independent art spaces and collectives, and fine arts schools to congregate, show and sell their works in a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The committee members are Trickie Lopa, Lisa Periquet, Mailin Locsin, Tana Lopa, Pepper Roxas and Dindin Araneta and Museum Foundation executive director Tricia Limon. Museum Foundation president is Maribel Ongpin.

The participating organizations on June 16 are Anino Shadowplay Collective, Art Inday, Art Informal, Blanc, Big & Small Art Gallery, FEATI University, FEU, Galerie Astra, Galeria de las Islas, Galerie Ocho, L’Arc en Ciel, Ilustrador ng Kabataan, Kulay Marikina, Neo-Angono Art Collective, Nineveh Art Space, silverlens gallery, Philippine Printmakers Association, Ral Arrogante, Slash Art & Tin-aw Art Flow and U.P. College of Fine Arts. Income earned by the Museum Foundation from the event will benefit the National Museum.
