Annual General Assembly 2008

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008

February 13, 2008

Dear Museum Foundation Member,

We will start the year 2008 with a General Assembly of our association to adapt the amendments that are necessary for the longevity and vitality of the organization.

We had wanted to accomplish this action last year but there were some Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issues that we had to comply with in order to carry out the mission in an orderly and valid manner. We are happy to announce that we have managed to meet the conditions required and updated the records needed in order to call for the General Assembly on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 3pm at the Tambunting-Villongco Hall of the National Museum at Burgos Avenue, Manila.

We urge you to make the time to cast your vote for the amendments which we have attached for your perusal. We also enclose proxy forms for those who cannot come to the General Assembly so that you can vote on the amendments. Proxy forms also serve to satisfy quorum requirements. If you send a proxy and then show up at the General Assembly, your proxy form will be replaced by your presence and your personal vote at the General Assembly. So, there is no problem if you send a proxy form and then have the time to come to the General Assembly. Please be reminded that only members who have paid their annual membership may cast their votes on these amendments.

The General Assembly will be an important step forward for our organization which has scheduled elections to the Board in July this year.

Thank you for your support as a Museum Foundation member. Thanks to your participation our organization has gone from strength to strength in its mission to enhance the world of arts and culture in this country.

Sincerely,

You can download the voting form and proposed amendments in pdf or as a zip file. the proxy form is also available in pdf and zip.
