Our Resort
Sitio Remedios, a Heritage Village by the South China Sea, is a 1.8 hectare private resort of seven houses, some named from the towns of Ilocos Norte, dedicated to our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage and Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, patron and namesake of the resort owner’s mother. Arriving guests enter at the Avenida de Azucao, lined with Azucao Lotus plants, which lead to a chapel named Iglesia de San Miguel.

Each Balay, the local term for ‘house’, is furnished with Ilocano furniture – beds, dining tables, wooden sala sets, vintage fixtures and authentic crocheted bedspreads, tablecloths, ‘inabel’ sheets, pillowcases and towels sourced for the interiors to complete the traditional and spare Ilocano look. After a tour, one can schedule a massage at the ‘Ablon’, an Ilocano term for healing massage, just near the beach or at the Balay after a healthful feast at the resort’s dining area, Abrao, which serves traditional Ilocano dishes, vegetarian cuisine, fruits and drinks.

A visit to the idyllic heritage village resort of Sitio Remedios is truly a nostalgic return to the mid-century Ilocos Norte – a genteel era of gracious living and a unique experience in these modern times.
